[ friends VS relatives ]

i looked up the definitions of

FRIENDS
A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts & one knows; an acquaintance.
One who supports, sympathizes with, or patronizes a group, cause, or movement.

& RELATIVES
Having pertinence or relevance; connected or related.

i'm super pissed with wad my mum told me yest. Coz on sunday nite, we were clearing some stuffs then my mum found a list of numbers (friends & relatives) that Papa keeps.

Initially she dont want to call them as we "lost" touch with them for so long after Papa was 1st jobless. But she decided to call them up to let them know abt my father's condition & they may wan to visit him. But they were insensitively doubted my mum, thot she was kidding & thot she wanted to borrow $$ from them. I even learnt that they call him "ah-gong/gong kia" since young. I dono wad so stupid abt my dad & my mum also dono they called my dad so...

We kept it from Papa if he knew how they react, he will be heartbroken.

On the other hand, Papa friends' & their families have always been helpful in every other way.. Papa always told us to return gratitute to ppl who help us one day. which i will for those who truly earns it.
